Later on, in July 1992, a second unit was created, named Paparoca Hiper Sol-Mar, whose service was also a Snack-Bar and Pizzeria, providing the customers the same products provided in the unit that was initially open. The home delivery service was opened a few years later, with deliveries initially being made by and outside contracted company.

Today, home service is carried out internally by our company, with two vehicles available to carry out this same service, which is integrated into the store located at Hiper SolMar in São Gonçalo.

In 1993, a new unit was opened: A Paparoca do Hiper Modelo. In this unit, the service and products provided were the same as in other units. After a few years, some grilled dishes, lasagna and cream cod were introduced. This unit closed on February 29, 2003, due to the construction of the Parque Atlântico Shopping Center.

In 1998, the Casa das Sandes unit opened, which remained open until December 2012. It emerged with the same service that is available to customers today, that is, hot and cold sandwiches, soup, cakes and cafeteria service.

In October 2003, Paparoca do Parque Atlântico was created, replacing the previously existing unit in Hiper Modelo. In this unit the service is the same as in the stores previously described. Burgers and pizzas are not served, with the exception of mini-pizzas. The dishes served are: grilled dishes, cream cod, lasagna, soups, sandwiches, cakes and cafeteria service, among others.

In January 2004, the unit was created: “A Paparoca” Snack-Bar and Pizzeria in the Sol-Mar Shopping Center and which remains open today. This store serves pizzas, grilled dishes, cream cod, lasagna, soups, cold and grilled sandwiches, cakes, burgers and cafeteria service, among others.

In May 2009, the unit located at Hiper Sol-Mar in Vila Franca do Campo was created, called Paparoca de Vila Franca do Campo, which was later closed in 2011.

This unit reopened again in June 2012.

In 2013, the Snack-Bar and Pizzeria “A Paparoca” in the Avenida Center Shopping Center renewed its image and reopened its doors with the merger of Casa das Sandes, which had been closed since January of the same year, making this unit a 2 in 1.

The space where Casa das Sandes was located at SolMar Avenida Center opened in May 2013, with a new concept that is completely different from what regular Paparoca customers are used to, a kind of Coffee Boutique with the participation of Delta Café, with a variety of infused teas, ice creams, hot chocolates, milkshakes, among others.

Also in July this year, we opened our doors with a new concept “A Mercearia” which has a menu that offers the healthiest foods you can find in a restaurant: vegetables, fruit, cheeses, pasta, white meats, fish and excellent quality cereals. . And in the simplest and fastest way to satisfy your pleasure: salads, sandwiches and juices.

Our space in Vila das Capelas opened in 2021.

Thus, the Paparoca Group currently has four open units: A Paparoca do Hiper Sol-Mar in São Gonçalo, A Paparoca do Parque Atlântico, Sabores e Sopas in Parque Atlântico and A Paparoca da Vila das Capelas, with its staff being approximately 50 employees.

Currently the company has its offices and Central Warehouse in Caminho da Levada, warehouse 309 Fajã de Cima.

In June 2010, the company changed its corporate name from Rodrigues & Silva, Lda. to A Paparoca, SU. Lda. thus managing to register its brand after 2 years of effort.

Nowadays, the company A Paparoca, SU., Lda. is a solid company that takes care of the well-being and satisfaction of its customers, always trying to satisfy the needs for improvement in relation to the market and increasingly guaranteeing the customer a quality service, serving food products that are based on principles of quality, hygiene and food security.
